Acceptance requirements for pressure testing of heat exchangers

Belongs to the heat exchange equipment, heat exchanger manufacturing joint deal with the completion of the heat exchanger tube sheet, tube side and shell side of test or increase the tightness test, pressure test including hydraulic pressure test and pressure test. Plate heat exchanger hydraulic test in general, but because of the structure or support reasons, can not be filled with liquid or operating conditions are not allowed to test the residual liquid, gas pressure test can be used.

The pressure test system of the heat exchanger is composed of a heat exchanger, a pressure test pump, a metal hose, a pressure gauge, a blind plate and a pressure testing ring. The test pressure of heat exchanger equipment mainly includes: medium test, air tightness test, water pressure test.

Pressure test sequence and requirements

1, fixed tube plate

(1) shell pressure test. Check the connection of the shell, the heat exchange tube and the tube plate and the related parts.

(2) pipe pressure test. Check the box and related parts.

2, U tube type heat exchanger, kettle type reboiler (with U tube bundle) and stuffing box type heat exchanger

(1) shell pressure test (test pressure ring). Check the connection position of the shell, the tube plate, the heat exchange tube and the tube plate.

(2) pipe pressure test. Check the relevant parts of the tube box.

3, heat exchangers, kettle type reboiler (with float tube)

(1), pressure tool tube and tube plate connection joint for pressure test and test and special test floating pressure ring. The kettle type reboiler should also be equipped with the tube and the tube plate joint pressure test special shell, check the heat exchanger tube and tube plate connection and relevant parts.

(2) pipe pressure test. Check the box, floating head cover and related parts.

(3) shell test pressure: check the shell, heat exchange tube and tube plate connection and related parts.

4, when the test pressure is higher than the shell side pressure. Should be in accordance with the pattern, or in accordance with the method of production and construction units agreed.

5, overlapping heat exchanger pressure test bench. When the heat exchanger is communicated with each other, the pressure test of the pipe and the shell is carried out after overlapping assembly. Check the seal at the nozzle flange.

6, the heat exchanger pressure test should be put inside the net water. Blow dry if necessary.

Check before acceptance

1, the equipment is put into operation for a week, the indicators meet the technical requirements or can meet the production needs.

2, equipment corrosion, keep intact, to achieve the perfect standard.

3. Submit the following technical information

(1) design change and material substitution notice, material and parts certificate.

(2) maintenance records.

(3) weld quality inspection (including visual inspection and nondestructive testing, etc.).

(4) the recording of the whole heat exchanger.

The plate heat exchanger can meet the requirements of the quality and schedule of the heat exchanger after the test. If you need to deal with a high degree of toxic gas, a wide range of hazards, or plate heat exchanger tube shell process does not allow the slightest amount of gas leakage, but also to increase the plate heat exchanger air tightness test. Reed plate heat exchanger before the factory must pass the test pressure after passing the package to be shipped. To ensure that users in the use of the process will not be a problem.
