Working principle and design principle of plate heat exchanger

Plate heat exchanger plate is an important part of plate heat exchanger, the main material is stainless steel, titanium and titanium palladium. The plate itself is made up of metal and rubber gaskets. The metal plate can be pressed into different shapes according to different heat transfer conditions. The rubber washer is arranged in the gasket groove along the periphery of the plate to form a seal and a dielectric guide.

The positioning of the plate is determined by the contact between five points of metal and metal, and the three points of the upper bearing rod can prevent the plate from moving up and down. Plate heat exchanger is composed of a group of corrugated metal plate, the board has four corners, for the transfer of the two kinds of liquid. The metal plate is arranged in a frame with a fixed plate and a movable clamping plate on one side. A sealing gasket is arranged on the plate, the fluid channel is sealed, and the fluid is alternately flow into the respective flow passage.

The fluid flow, physical properties, pressure drop and temperature difference determines the number and size of plate heat exchanger. Corrugated plate not only improves the degree of turbulence, and the formation of many supporting points, enough to withstand the pressure difference between the media. The metal plate and the movable plate pressing plate are hung on the upper guide rod, and are positioned by the lower guide rod.
